If you run one blog or a few sites and mostly need to find keywords, check what ranks, and watch your own positions, most of a suite goes unused. Mangools takes the other route: five narrow tools sold as one bundle — KWFinder for keyword research, SERPChecker for search results analysis, SERPWatcher for rank tracking, LinkMiner for backlinks and SiteProfiler for site metrics — plus an AI search monitor. What is good, and what is not
Good
- One subscription covers keyword research, SERP analysis, rank tracking, backlink checks and site metrics, so you are not paying for each as a separate tool.
- The entry price is low: $18.85 a month on the yearly plan, against Semrush's $117.33 on its yearly plan.
- An AI search monitor (500 prompts) is included in every plan, along with API and MCP access, as the pricing page shows.
- There is a 48-hour full refund and you can cancel any time. Payment can be by card, bank transfer, crypto, or PayPal through Paddle.
Not so good
- Daily limits cap heavy use. Basic allows 100 keyword lookups and 100 SERP analyses per 24 hours and tracks 200 keywords. — enough for one or a few sites; agencies and heavy researchers need Premium or Agency.
- There are no extra seats on Basic. Premium adds 3 and Agency adds 5. — this only matters if more than one person needs a login.
- Rank tracking updates weekly on Basic and Premium. Only Agency updates daily. — this matters if you want to watch positions day by day around a launch or a Google update.
- The refund window is 48 hours, and it does not apply to two consecutive subscriptions. — if you want to try it, use it hard in the first two days.
The verdict
Mangools suits you if you run one to a few sites and want keyword research, search results analysis and rank tracking in one affordable subscription. On the yearly plan Basic is $18.85 a month, which saves $139.80 over paying $30.50 monthly. The limits are real: 100 lookups a day, 200 tracked keywords, weekly rank updates and no extra seats. If you outgrow them, Premium at $26.35 a month on the yearly plan adds 500 lookups, 700 tracked keywords and 3 seats. With a 48-hour refund window, the cheapest way to decide is to run your own keywords through it for two days.
